Why is London so Cute?

London really is a huge city. I live in east central London, basically smack dab in the middle of everything, which is great. But what I see on a daily basis is the city: the grey buildings, traffic, pushy people, pavement, not much green. If you escape central London though, you get more of a taste of English life. For one thing, I'm in love with the homes here.

This is a house in Little Venice (which, quite frankly, is nothing like Venice, Italy; but it's still nice). I hope people don't find it weird that I take pictures of their houses...

Row of adorable houses in Kew Gardens. I would really love to live here. Or transplant one of these houses in the US.

I am absolutely in love with Notting Hill/ the Portobello area.

Portobello Market is very cool. LOTS of antiques and old books and such.

When I get out of the city and look at all the quaint houses I find myself saying, "That is so English!"...I am sooooo American...
